Just to start a topic on System Design 🙂
When an organization has been growing bottom-up. It is quite common to see that the component view is there, but the system view is missing. What are the main challenges you see when bringing a System View? How do you overcome such challenges?

I think part of the challenge of bringing a systems view is that it is a higher level of abstraction, so you are trying to help people understand their organization as a system but it may sound to abstract to them, and I think the solution is to show how it can ultimately lead to greater clarity, comprehension and coherence to the whole organization or project.

    Hello Joss,
Yes, the question here is. How to show this clarity? It is kind of a recursive issue. You need to convince people in order to show and provide clarity, you need to provide clarity in order to convince people 🙂
Basically the understanding of the methodology can be key, but somehow I have the feeling that there should be some more of a holistic approach.
